An evil cult has kidnapped you and attempts to sacrifice you to their god Radu. To escape their castle you'll have to befriend a ghostly wisp, find futuristic weapons, and learn to use divine powers in this FPS adventure inspired by the Bioshock games.
A project nearly 2 years in the making! It was made in the user-generated content game Dreams on PS4 and PS5. Working on this project was what convinced me that I wanted to become a professional game developer.
This game won a Media Molecule Pick award from the game developers, has been played by 5000+ players, and has overwhelmingly positive feedback from players.

Using the Dreams editor to program complex gameplay systems including:
Weapons and spell abilities
Enemy patrolling and attack patterns
Currency the player collects and uses to buy ammo and other resources
A hacking mini game that let's you turn machines to your side
Multiple menus: pause, vending machine, main menu, etc.
Optimizing performance by culling features when offscreen, enabling smooth 60 FPS gameplay
Designing a unique and engaging experience by:
Designing enough combat encounters, exploration, and story content for roughly 2 hours of gameplay
Writing a horror-themed story about escaping from an evil cult
Sequencing cutscenes to tell my story
Designing custom art assets such as the guns and enemies
